The Dead-Tossed Waves - Carrie Ryan I finally read the second book of the trilogy of the Forest of Hands and Teeth and i have to say that i cant compare it with the first book because i read it 3 years ago and i dont remember much apart from the fact that some author messes really really bad with the love triangles.

i was a little dissappointed with this book. if i am right (at least in fiction) when you come face to face with a zombie or an infection you just run the other way and pray that you wont be next. In this particular book this rule didnt apply. there was a lot self-discovery with an infected guy that i would love not to see infected cuz he was so awesome.
Now, Ryan tell me what is your problem and in both books have a love triangle with one guy turning into an infected person about to turn in any moment. what is your problem with one on one romance and the probability of things taking its course. aaahhhh...

the plot was fast..i found myself turning the pages like crazy at some parts because of the agony that the story-telling created and i admit that i was scared. i give that to Ryan. i dont see that often, its rare and its great.

i gave three books to this book because it was stupid when it came to love triangles etc..i would like to see something different in the second installation....off to the third now.
Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) - Sarah Mlynowski this is an easy to read book...i actually read it in one breath and it totally reminded me of my stupid teen years.

i enjoyed the book but come on why cant it be a coming of age book with a realistic plot. Many things that the protagonists did were unrealistic...nevermind the bad parenthood.

the author did a really good job writing about the relationships and how unimportant and small things seems so big at the eyes of a teenager and how they deal with that. as for the sex issue well it was great during the book but it ruined everything at the last chapters.

Nevertheless i would recommend this book.
The Eternal Ones - Kirsten Miller i have to say that i really really liked the book.
i know that there were parts that the protagonist was self centered and stupid but you have to love the story. the writer did a good jobwith the whole Ouroboros Society which by the way exists in New York creating a romance that is powerful.

I have to say that at some points in the book i got really realy mad cuz i felt like stupid when the author explaines some details underestimating the readers comprehensive skills.i mean come on its alright to leave some things in the imagination.

other than that i totally recommend the book.
Practical Magic - Alice Hoffman Seriously i thought i would die reading this book. i thought that it would never ever end...it went on forever.
ok so on this particular case the movie was way better than the actual book. The book in other words sucked. maybe i should have read the book first and then watched the movie but when you grow up with this movie and you live in a country where the book is not available what do you expect.

the book was awful. the writer had a way of telling things which in a way was both calming and nerve wrecking...while i was reading some peaceful paragraph the word f*** and p**** would suddenly appear making me think wtf?

i think that the book didnt have a plot. i felt like the writer just grabbed a piece of paper and started writing without a plan or something in her mind. people say that the book is all about witchcraft but i didnt see any actual witchcraft...the movie held that part a lot better.

i would not recommend this book to you...i would recommend the movie instead. so go and watch the movie
Nobody But Us - Kristin Halbrook 3.5 stars and thats because i didnt like the ending...its so not fair.

i loved loved loved this book. initially i didnt know if reading it would be a great idea because all of us know where the runaways end up. and i tend to be one of those people who think about a book for a long time after they finished it.

anyways i am so glad i read this book it was great!!!!
the story was awesome and i liked that you could see the thoughts and actions of two people through their perspectives!!!

what i didnt like was the ending and that the main characters acted really really stupid at some points in the book.it felt like they didnt think before they acted which made me pull my hair is despair.

i totally recommend this book although i have to warn you that you will totally get dissapointed with the ending!!!
September Girls - Bennett Madison well i dont know what to say about this book. i had no idea it would be paranormal fiction. when i started reading it i thought that it was just an indie book with a coming of age theme but no.
at some point people started falling in love and act weird until BOOM! mermaids appear. i was like wtf!!!

i enjoyed reading the book and especially the characters. it was truthful when it comes to family problems and seeing people close to you fall into the nets of depression and i liked the mermaid thing as much. it was original.

the mermaid thing had nothing to do with Ariel or Syrenka. it was a totally different concept and i think it contributes to the fictional history of mermaids.

i totally recommend this book.
Easy - Tammara Webber undeniably one of tje best books I have ever read.
I love the fact that it deals with the aftermath of rape and how society and the victim see it. how different can the povs be.
the cjaracters were perfect and tje wjole storyline too.
I would totally recommend it.
Forbidden - Tabitha Suzuma I didn't even know such book existed...someone recommended it to me and i thank them so much.
The author is british and i have to say that i admire her guts to write and to publish such a book...in the western world.

i have read a lot of manga that have to do with incest or brother - sister love and sex and all of that (Angel Sanctuary,Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru) there are also anime...
what i dpnt understand is why Asians seem to be a little cooler with that issue. i know that is genetically weird to have a physical relationship with your brother or with a cousin but i know that a lot of us have seen a cousin and thought something improper..its just the nature of the human...we love to play with fire and when something is off limits subconsciously we want to make it ours.

Apparently the book wants to teach us not to be so judgemental of people and their likes. through my early childhood to my late adolescence i experienced a lot of judgemental people and i dont really do that. i know a girl that she has a relationship with her brother (not a broken family) and i have no problem with them since they dont do anything to anyone.

of course i am not saying that everyone has to go and have sex with a family member cuz after a generation the earth would be full with hybrids due to genetic anomalies but i want to say is that things happen and instead of judge people we should put our feet in their shoes and think how we would react if we were them.

To the book
i have never ever read something like that in my entire life. the book itself it was provoking and great. i would not recommend a hormone-unstable teen to read this due to descriptive sexual scenes and the theme of incest. it falls under the category of young adult but i would totally put it under the category of adult.

the characters were greatly developed to the point i cried with them, laughed, anguished and *hhmm* wanted them epicly bad to find some time alone. the book itself is good written, i felt like i was in the same room as Maya and Lochie watching them.

To be honest with you i didnt really like the ending but thats just me. i could have turned out completely different and i felt it was not fair for the characters.

Time Between Us - Tamara Ireland Stone I would never read this book if my librarian didn't recommend it...you see i am a regular at the public library and everyone knows who i am...kind weird...anyway she recommended this amazing , beautiful , great book and i am so glad that i read it.

First of all the plot:
well designed and at the right pace...not to slow not to fast just moderate so i could turn the pages like a maniac. The adventure starts around page 90 - 100 and for the next 250 pages you want more and more as the plot reaches its climax.

Secondly the Characters:
one of the best writing i have ever experienced. i loved both of the main characters and the side ones. the nice thing about the author is that with a few words she gives you the big picture of each person and you simply have to follow and love him. you hurt with them you cry with them - amazing.

you see it has the right amount of romance and love and it doesnt overdo itself...in my opinion in the second book we will get to see a lot more romance and i honestly cant wait for it to be released on October 2013!!!

I totally recommend this book.
Warm Bodies - Isaac Marion an enjoying novel.....like twilight but from a zombie's point of you.....
Second Kiss - Natalie Palmer this books is great. seriously!!!
when i first started it i was about to drop it cuz i thought it will be a boring love story of 14 y.o's. i was wrong. it was a little more complicated and the characters took their times something that made me turn the pages like crazy.

the books it is well written and the characters well developed to the point that you feel them and care about them.

when i finished the book i was thinking about it for a long time and i wanted it more.
i definetely recommend it.
The Michael Jackson Tapes: A Tragic Icon Reveals His Soul in Intimate Conversation - Shmuley Boteach wow i was a little confused with the rating but i finally managed to rate it a huge 3.!!!

so just to make myself clear throughout the book i only read the conversations between mj and the rabbi. i didnt read his comments at all because i would get very mad.

so what i came to realise is that michael was an amazing person. he had deep knowledge of history and religion and you can see that throughout the book. i loved the way he spoke the words he used.

i would just loved to have a conversation with mj. he was such a interesting person and nothing like the person the media presented. at some points in the books its easy to lose track of who is talking.

many of the things that the rabbi and mj discussed had to do with fame, money, childhood, children etc. you can see that mj only wanted to take care of kids and help those in need. he wanted to bring nations together through his songs and he managed that well.

what i didnt like is that the rabbi kept reapeating himself over and over keeping the conversation to children and innocence. that was kind of weird. at some points i read his comments and what he did (mostly) was to apologize for some things michael said. its like mj didnt have an opinion on some matters and that all people should believe the same things...thats what the rabbi did through his comments. why would you discuss with someone when you are not ready to hear and accept their beliefs and opinions.

lastly, it was a big mistake of the rabbit to make a book after michael. i know it was mj's wish but still he sold out his friend.

p.s. through the book he is advertising a lot of his books...
Writing Magic: Creating Stories that Fly - Gail Carson Levine a good book for ideas...a little poor when it comes to actual techinques....
My Life Next Door - Huntley Fitzpatrick This is none of my favorite books!!!
NO SPOILERS

The Plot:
it was amazing to finally read a love story that it takes its time, deals with real life problems and moms and slowly bloom into an unconditional love! it was amazing. the author gave time to the main characters to develop their relationship and eventually take it to the next level. it seemed so natural and i wanted to read more and more and more.

The Characters:
Fully developed and each one had to deal with its own demons. The author gives you a clear view of each one and you immediately know if you gonna like them or not. e.x. Sam;s mom is a total bitch and you know that from page one as the book moves on you find more reasons to hate her and in the end you hate her even more for what she did.

The Language:
The language that is being used in the book is appropriate you dont find yourself reading the same words over and over again to the point you want to tear the book in half. the use of metaphores is great and beautiful.

Overall:
its a great summer reading book and i would totally recommend it.
Lucy in the Sky - Anonymous okay the book says in the tradition of go ask alice. so i knew what i would read but i didnt like it at all...
its not about the drugs its that the book is exactly the same as go ask alice which i loved but i would like to read something different and not the same shit again and again. the only difference is that the protagonist doesnt die and that she keeps contact with her family.
i know the whole thing is a fake and not something that really happened as some claim but the girl was totally stupid it was like she wasnt thinking 90% of the time of what she was doing.
You are Not Alone: Michael: Through a Brother's Eyes - Jermaine Jackson First of all i am a huge fan of michael jackson. i read lots of books about him from various authors who claimed they knew Mj but this book puts everything in order.
Jermaine wrote a book that sets the truth straight.

He starts with the childhood years and how hard they trained to become singers and dancers and here a lot of questions are being answered about michaels personality. ..and by that i mean the masks he wore, the way he worked etc etc.

He continues to the era of michael being a solo artist and how he lost touch with his family andthe people that were around him. He woild sometimes go on and say that he didnt trust certain people and that people did things without him knowing.

Some of us think that people treated him as an icon all the time but not the people he worked with...some of them treated him like trash and michael didnt like the way he was being talked to.
At last the book concludes to the Neverland Years when michael faced pedophilia charges and how he responded and felt. What striked me was the michael had a 5 year plan on 2008 and that the This is It concerts wouldnt be the last ones.

I will leave the book to you to read and make your own judgements but what i have to say is that this is the only book that you need to read about michael. It will solve a lot of questions and make you see michael differently.
